Sponsorship/Donation Opportunities

Join a winning team today by becoming a sponsoring partner of the Michigan Thunderbirds! In order to remain among the elite wheelchair sports programs in the country, the T-Birds need your assistance. Proceeds from your donation will support travel expenses, the purchasing of new equipment, and the hosting of tournaments for the adult and junior basketball teams and other sports programs. In exchange, your organization's name and logo will be advertised on the team's website, travel van and any related publication.

Any size contribution is welcome and donations are tax-deductible. The Michigan Thunderbirds are a program of the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living, an IRS recognized non-profit organization. Volunteer with the Thunderbirds

The Thunderbirds are always looking for help with our programs. This can take many forms, including recording stats or operating the clock at home basketball tournaments. Coupon Books

Primary financial support for the Thunderbirds comes from donations based on sales of coupon books through Wheelchair Sports Cause Marketing. WSCM was formed in January 2001 to promote local businesses through coupon books and to raise awareness of Wheelchair Basketball. In addition to sponsoring the Thunderbirds, they work with the NWBA to give contributions that support teams nationwide.
